It was an uneventful first round in the Patriot Tournament with the top four seeds advancing into the semifinals.
Top seed, Bucknell cruised past Navy 58-42, while 2nd seed Lafayette took care of Holy Cross by a score of 77-54.
Meanwhile, 3rd seed Lehigh had the toughest test of the day against Colgate. They came away with a 71-64 victory. The Mountain Hawks overcame a 4 point deficit at half to advance in the tournament. Just last season, the Mountain Hawks shocked the NCAA Tournament eliminating Duke as a 15 seed in the tournament.
4th seeded Army, cruised past American University 65-44.
The semifinals will be played on Sunday and will pit Bucknell against Army, while Lehigh will square off against Lafayette.
